The most recent vintage of our world class Meritus is a blend of 55 % Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Syrah.  Bottled 11-09-2023 with a TA of 5.4 gr/L. and an Alcohol level of 14.5%

Fruit-forward and bold, this Tempranillo boasts ripe black cherry, plum, smoked cedar, and sweet toast. With a creamy mid-palate and punchy finish, it’s vibrant and irresistible.

Do not expect to find this taste profile in any other wine you have tasted because it is a blend of 10 different vinifera grape varieties, Mourvèdre being the dominant one, but adorned with Tempranillo, Merlot, Syrah, Grenache and others.

Light to medium body, crisp with blackberry fruit, the blend is mellow with hints of vanilla and pepper. 

12 months in oak. 10% French, 10% Hungarian and 80% American. 40% second use and 60% older neutral oak used.
